My favorite photo of yours is number 8, the one of the buttons. I like the view that it gives, something like that of a bird's eye view. The way the shot was taken makes the colors stand out as well as reflect off the glass on the sides of the container.
I think I like number 4 the best. It The light the reflects from the wet floor helps with the tone of the photo. It is warm so it doesn't feel like the neighborhood is particularly bad but it still feels a bit ominous because everything else is very dark and sorta frames the focus point which would be the yellow tones in the center.
These are some nice photos. I think my favorite one for color would be #1 - the composition is great, and the bright blue writing contrasts nicely with the green forest. Another one of my favorites is #4 - the reflection of the light in the water is great and it really has a distinct atmosphere in the photo. Very nice job
Your subject matter in all of these follows a nice theme of the natural world. The photos as a group are very successful. #4 and #11 are really simple but nice because they remind me of living in the suburbs. They almost seem like snapshots of memories from your home.
I really like how in image 1 and 4 you use light to tell the viewer where you want us to look. In image 1 our eye travels down the path through the saturated green trees to the end of the tunnel. I'm image 4 we focus on the light casting onto the wet street these two images allow me to become more involved in looking at them as there is a content that I can imagine looking at them.

ReplyDeleteYou have many great shots, they all were focus on the color of the photo which was easy to see that was your goal. My favorite shot is photo#8
ReplyDeleteI think 4 looks absolutely perfect. It has such a strong mood, and you managed to capture it from the perfect angle to see the reflection. Great work.
