My favorite photo of yours so far is number 5, the one of the red/pinkish tree. The colors in this shot are great, as well as the angle. The angle that it was taken from makes the tree look so much more different than a normal shot/view of a tree.
I think number 12 is my favorite. I like the how I am unsure of what exactly I am looking at. It looks like a pillar but it also looks like a green wall. I think color in this photo helps create a really interesting photo
Loren - truly wow. There is not much I can say, other than I think these are great photos. However I am concerned that you are going in pools this time of year. It is very cold out and although the water does look appealing you may end up with hypothermia or worse - goosebumps. I am also concerned that you are going into creepy tunnels by yourself with people taking photos of you behind your back. Just keeping an eye out for you. I think my favorite photo is #6 - the orange pumpkins pop out in the frame, and the overcast sky has a lot of detail - a very nice image. Good job, and stay away from those pools and tunnels.
I really like image 3! It looks like an above view of a small village (even though I know that's not what it is) I think the neutral colors contrasted with the red of the mushroom creates a nice color contrast i also focus on the texture a lot in this photo.
You have many interesting shots that you took, I really enjoyed looking through your color photos. My favorite shot is photo#6 I think the way you captured the dark lighting in the sky above the orange color of the pumpkins really makes the photo "pop"
I love all the ways you found to incorporate various amounts of color in this set of photos. I like them all really, but the pumpkins really pop out at me, probably just because I love this time of year...but I also really enjoy 1 and 11. Great work!
Hi Loren. I love your photos. Your attitude on the other hand? Not so much. Photo 6 is beautiful yet also disturbing at the same. It looks like it could be taken right out of a horror film. In fact i'd be worried if I were you that you may be actually living in a horror film. We are our own worst enemies. As the days and nights go on I realize more and more that fear is merely a construction of the mind. That being said, I still believe that you truly have reason to believe in fear. This picture makes me wonder what is beyond this field and over the hill? What is there, Loren? Why not go for a walk and see what awaits you? Great work on the photos!

ReplyDeleteI enjoy the calm and relaxing state of these photos. Number 6 really looks cool and is shot at a nice postion to maintain the rule of thirds
