  1. My favorite shot of yours is week 3 shot 9. The different color lights coming through the windows and the white lights underneath the underpass changed the way I looked at it. The white lights above the cars seem to go on for a while, making the picture look larger than it really is.

  2. I really like your photos. I think your portrayals of colors are all very interesting. 2 and 12 are my favorite because there is a focus color. 2 being yellow and 12 being red. I feel like I like they because they are at 2 ends of a spectrum. One of them feels very lonely (#2) while the other feels like it is bustling (#12).

  3. Emmet- your city shots nicely capture Philadelphia from the eyes of someone wandering around, which is what I'm sure you were doing. #13 confuses me because that is definitely not Philly...Why are you in New York? Try to stay within the city limits next time. My favorites are #12 and #14, as they show Reading Terminal from such a nolstalgic looking viewpoint, the color is really nice. However, your self-portrait #2 honestly frightens me.

  4. These photos seem to show a sense of exploration and discovery. A recording of a venture across the city with some shopping. Photo 14 is really nicel shot and lighted. It gmakes me think of a establishing shot to a scene in a Quentin Tarantino film.

  5. I like the image 11 it shows good movement and you froze the frame at an interesting point. I also like the image of the taxi's through the window I think all the stimulus of the blurred signs and yellow taxis mirrors how hectic the setting of the city really is.

  6. 11 is pretty intriguing, I'm wondering if the red is from some weird lighting at a sketchy party? Looks like a good time. I also like the termini brothers picture.

  7. Eh. 8 Is pretty cool, showing the world above and the world below, both of which coexist in harmony. Beautiful stuff. It really reminds me of this film i've seen. It's called, Permission. You should see it. It's only really screening in 70mm right now but definitely worth a try. Both of your self portraits are disturbing and I highly recommend you delete them before I contact the authorities. Thank you!
