I like image 1 "past". I think I am drawn to it because of the way in which it appears there is multiple levels on such a surface texture. There are hard lines mixed with soft and just enough space around the glass pane to anchor it. Continue to explore multiple textures and finishes in the same image because I feel like when you do there is enough variety without unbalance.
Jonathan, I think your best photo is "Trials". The bleak lighting along with the wide angle lens has a really cool perspective that is mysterious and somber. Overall, a lot of your photos evoke that sort of feel. Nice job.
I think awake is my favorite. I like the fact that the photo is flushed with warm tones giving that warmth despite the fact that the place is very worn and shoddy looking.
I love the photo in your chapter titled past labeled 'noir.' This photo is very interesting. The coloring definitely makes this photo. The black and white makes the photo feel vintage, but at the same time as if you are standing there right now.
