Jared I really enjoy what you have done in image 6 and 10. I think they remind me of movie stills, like Cindy Sherman. I think the lighting in these images as well is the strongest as the light assists with reinforcing the point of focus. We are almost a voyeur in the scene, imposing on their personal space. There is also a sense of tension in these images because we can not see what has happened to cause this shot or predict what is about to happen after. Continue to explore these narratives.

My favorite photo of yours is number 10. I like this point of view. You can look at it from many different perspectives. I like how you have different points of view. It seems to be that your point of view is from the ground up, different then a normal photograph.
Hey Jared! Beautiful job on photos #1 and #10. I feel like both of these are similar in that they feel more emotional than the others. The way you can just barely see the reflection of the figure in the window is awesome-very cinematic.
Jared, Your 11th photo of Spongebob truly gave me shivers. I definitely like that one as well as number 6. 6 reminds me of a shot from Rosemary's Baby by the DP Will Fraker where a character is doing an action slightly out of view behind a door, but just enough where the audience can understand the action. It puts the viewer a bit on edge, and I think that works here in your photo. The added black and white aspect really makes it mysterious.
Great job and keep up the good work. Your mom and I are very proud of you
Hello. The spaes you create in some of your photis really leave a feeling of uneasiness. A feeling of lonliness or fear. Photos 11 and 12 really amusing to me just seeing theme near one another. Almost like a Hitchcock film about a demonic Spongebob toy.

Hi Jared, nice photos. I think your best shot is photo #1 I like how you captured the emotion of the shot.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Brittany. I also like 11 because it is giving me serious creepy vibes because of the shadows.
