Recipe:
1. Shoot scene. If time permits it, shoot at least 5 more times for better focus, composition, and/or lighting.
2. Move photos that work to seperate folder
3. Open photo(s) in Snapseed.
4. If low on lighting, use "HDR Scale" to bring out details.
5. Use "Details" to sharpen the photo
6. Use "Tune Image" to adjust the exposure, contrast, saturation, shadows, highlights, warmth, and ambiance
7. If necessary adjust "Details" once more
*8. Some photos used the "Drama" or " Tonal Contrast" function to try new styles

My favorite shot of yours is number 4. The contrasting colors make both the wallet and the flowers stick out. I like the effect that you used in that it doesn't make me focus on one object.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy these photographs as a grouping. They show your art practice very well and the cosplaying items you are making. (I'm assuming cosplay from the Keyblade and the No Face mask!) You could definitely play with the saturation of the colors in the pictures. Upping the contrast in the photos would make the objects pop even more.
ReplyDeleteThese are some very nice photos - I think my favorite is #2 - the color wheels from the store definitely pop out at you when looking at the image. I also think #10 is very good - I like the framing a lot.
ReplyDeleteThese are great photos, I specifically love photo 13 which seems to represent a larger theme in your work which is realism and grit, portrayed through slightly grainy, warm images. I also enjoyed your self portrait. The attention to detail in the lighting is what separates it from just another boring selfie.
ReplyDeleteI think your strongest images are 8 and 15 I like 8 because I can not tell what I am looking at so I am drawn in for this fact. I like 15 because I think about organization and how you have created rules for organizing these objects and I think about a grid .
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, I think you did a great job with catching the color in them. Only thing I suggest is to try taking more photos that aren't so staged. My favorite shot is photo#2
ReplyDelete17 is the best. I like the gritty, industrial feel and the random pops of color in the background. I also like the angle you shot from, it takes a minute to figure out what is being shot and where.
