  1. My favorite photo of your this far is #5, the one with the set of keys. The effect that you used make it seem like this photo was taken long ago. The coloring definitely makes the photo.

  2. I like #8, the glass bottle. I love how you went with a theme in this set of photos-focusing on the little details by getting a close up view.

  3. My Favorite Photos are 5 and 14. I really like image 5 because of the depth of field offered by the keys being in focus and the background being blurred. The desaturated color makes me think about the story in the image. Like were the keys left by a person who went out of the apartment to another destination, did the person just come home? Do the keys symbolize locking or unlocking ones self with or against the outside setting, etc. I think the sharpness vs blur works well here. In image 14 I think the expressions on the figurine's faces placed next to each other create an interesting narrative or fear and wonder. I think the low lighting insinuates more of the wondering of the scene. I almost wish however more filters were applied to this to really push the "aging" effect because I think this image in terms of narrative is nice. I think some of the other images are close ups of recognizable objects, trying to obscure them more or really pushing the effects could allow some of them to work better for the vintage aspect. 5 and 14 are strong images, nice!

  4. My favorite shot of your vintage pictures is 5, also I like photo1. At first I couldn't see what it exactly was of, until I gave a closer look.

  5. Hi Jared- #1 and #5 are my favorites for sure. That record looks like its come back from the 1950's to haunt me- truly beautiful if I do say so myself. #5 is also very well composed with the difference between foreground and background, between home and the outside world. The treatment on this photo is also very somber and memory-like, alluding to the 'vintage/memory' topic that we were assigned in this. very. class. Strange coincidence much...?????

  6. I enjoy your photos that give the viewer a new perspective and closeup on an everday object. There is also a sense of terror that come across through some photos, including 8-10 and 14/15.
