  1. Lauren. I see that you are drawn to nature. I am hesitant to tell you this, but I will say it anyway. Go. Live, breathe, FEEL. EMBRACE nature. Abandon your smart phone and take pictures with the highest quality camera you can have. Your EYES. Drink the wind, eat the grass, you will know when you are there. As for the photos, great work! I specifically like the picture of the dilapidated tower of a house. The sepia toned one. This really has a gritty feel to it. Great job!

  2. I really like the image in chapter 1 image three. It has a neat contrast of angelic and the beer caps. I think the image is successful because of the black and white nature, also the angel seems out of perspective so it catches my eye because you captured the image in an interesting way! I think most of your images that play off of light and the way light casts highlights and directs the viewer's eye are the most successful, great work!

  3. I agree with Jared. It seems like nature is a huge influence for your work so I suggest you should trying shooting nature the way you shoot color photos. I'm saying this because I think you're successful in taking abstract photos that focus on color so maybe try to blend the two and see what happens. I personally like the first photo in chapter 5.

  4. My favorite photo of yours is the very last one, even though I do not know exactly what it is. I am drawn to this photo because of the colors. The reflection of light and colors is awesome.

  5. I thought all of your shots in chapter 2 were great, they went well with the chapters name. My favorite in chapter 2 is photo 5. I picked this photo previously as one of my favorite and the looks of it, it still is. I love how you captured the sky even though it's dark and gray the overall sight of the light shinning through the clouds and above the pumpkin patch makes it a great shot
