  1. Your photos are great! All of them have such a ominous foreboding. I personally think #3 is the best.

  2. I like images 1 and 6 best. I think in many of your images your lighting plays an important role. In image 1 though the peep hole, I enjoy how you can see a hand and fingers like the hand is trapped behind the door trying to get in or get out. In 6, I like that the lights are almost floating in space and we can appreciate the light cast by each lighting fixture, the shade of gray that holds the glass panes on each fixture mirrors the background tone so it dissolves to the background, allowing the light to evolve from the background.

  3. I really like photos #2 and #3. The clouds is photo #2 make the picture so different then what it would have been if it was in color. For #3 I love that the one side is all bright and welcoming and the other side it dark and dreary, kind of a spooky side to it. Many of your photos seem to have brighter point of view and the other end of the picture seems to be dark.

  4. Hi Thomas. I enjoy #5 from both weeks as they seem to work together in their sense of foreboding mystery. (And they both have birds in them- Hitchcock much?) I love the way the darkness pulls your eye down into that deep cement space. Organizing the photos to convey some sort of narrative or follow-through would make a stronger impression.

  5. Hello Ashton. Your photos are definitely...interesting. If you consider disturbing imagery to be interesting. That being said, I like image 1 and 7. 1 is just plain creepy and makes me want to know who's hand is near clawing at the peephole. 7 really highlights your fear of a dark past following you. I feel as though they highlight guilt and sin in life, and an impending doom associated with such. The way the silhouetted figure stands tall above us is absolutely horrifying. Good luck with your inner demons.
