My favorite shot of yours is #6, the one with the penny. The way the copper in the penny jumps out at the observer is very nice. It pulled me in to look at the rest of the photo. I also like the way that you seemed to have captured the rain drops hitting the puddle.
I really like image 5, I have kept looking at it each week people posted images. Even though in idea it is simple, the lighting, black and white color and composition really make me think about the image and memory. I think that I think about who's hands they are, what they are working on, that their hands are cupped and open to show me something but also to welcome me to them. Nice job with this image!
You have many great shots here, but my favorite would have to be photo 12. It reminded me of being a child and the picture itself yells vintage since the shot is of a old bulky VCR tv.
I think your photos are very well framed and captured. Even though your pictures are very clear, you could have improved your 'vintage' feel somewhat by adding some more edits into the shots, such as filters or overlays. However, my favorite photos have to be #4 and #6 because they really focus in on small, everyday objects that people over-look. The penny in the rippling water is really nicely focused and cropped!
These are some nice shots. I like the use of black and white as well as the desaturated shots. I think my favorite photos are #1 and #5. The hands are intriguing to me, and I am curious as to what is all over them. Overall, I think you did a very nice job with these photos.

ReplyDelete#12 definitely reminds me of my childhood so I think that one works the best. The colors are warm so it really helps illustrate the vintage vibe
ReplyDelete#4 is my favorite. The gritty, dirty looking bottles are really interesting to me and the background is a great contrast.
