Recipe: I use an iPhone, so basic edits are done there. Also I like to shoot before and after peak hours because the light isn't too intense and it won't white out. More often than not, I tend to shoot around 4pm it seems.
I really like photo #18, the delicatessen. There is a mystery to it. There isn't one particular thing focused on which makes my eyes go to many different things. I like the way the red and green colors stick out from the rest, as well as the white lights at the top. These colors really make the photo.
ReplyDeleteAll of your photos seem to have a quiet notion to them. This is especially seen in your #14 photograph of the light passing through the blinds. The shadows created on the wall are so beautiful, awesome job!
ReplyDeleteThese are some really nice photos. I think my favorite is the last one, #18. The neon lights look great, and add a lot to the image. The framing is also very nice, the dark figures are mysterious.

ReplyDeleteI really like your photo 18 I think the way the figures look frozen in the scene in darkness contrasted with the Neon signs creates an interesting narrative. I enjoy your settings in some of the images from Ikea they have such cool home scenes set up but the red tags in the images allow me to know that so try to frame your photos without this identifier.

ReplyDeleteI like 12 and 18. The lack of bright color in 12 is interesting and the neon light signs provide an eye grabbing aspect. Nice work.
