Your photos are great, it was hard to pick the best one! My favorite is #23, the one at the train station. The lighting is this shot is great and the effect used makes the picture. I like the way the coloring of the sunlight is being reflected over the train.
Your filters are great. I personally like #9. The remnants of trash and life really make me think of the past. The graininess also helps with how old and worn the train tracks look
#23 is my personal favorite. I love the image of the train leaving and the color of the sky in the background. Whatever filter you used really creates a nostalgic feel to this photo.
You have many great shots here, but my favorite would have to be photo 9. I like how the picture truly shows how old the railroad tracks are and gives you the real feeling of how beat up the track is.
Hi Emmet- Really, really great work here. Seriously, you should do this for a job or something. It's like you know how cameras work, y'know? My favorite of this very cohesive series are #17 and #23. The photo #17 feels beautiful and distant, like a memory slowly fading over time. Its the little things amiright?...Photo #23 is also very well composed from the foreground to the very distant background. The gold-colored filter also alludes to sunlight and provides a warm tone to this photo, alluding that this place has good memories associated with it. Is the 7 train your happy train?

ReplyDeleteI really appreciate the use of filters to bring a old and faded poloroid look and texture. Photo 11 has a Beatle vibe which plays to the vintage theme
